BABY SLAIN: Parents' Tears Won't Bring Him Back—Justice Delivered!

A three-month-old baby, Miguel Pirjani, died after suffering a series of devastating injuries, injuries a court has determined were inflicted by his parents. Klevi and Nivalda Santos Pirjani now face sentencing for his murder, a case that has shaken those involved to its core.

The tragedy began with a frantic 999 call from Klevi, reporting that “it” had stopped breathing. The chilling detachment in his language – referring to his own son as “it” – immediately raised questions for the prosecution. Was it a product of panic, a language barrier, or something far more disturbing?

Miguel was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest, his tiny body bearing the marks of horrific trauma. Fractures were discovered in his right collarbone, left upper arm, and left shin. Further examination revealed retinal hemorrhages and displaced skull bones, a constellation of injuries that would prove irreversible.

The first weeks of Miguel’s life were spent in the hospital, battling an existing medical condition. He briefly came home, but the fragile hope for a healthy start was brutally extinguished. Bruising on the left side of his head and a fissure to his skull added to the grim picture.

As Miguel’s life slipped away, his mother was granted a final, agonizing moment to hold his hand. In that heart-wrenching scene, she whispered the words that would echo through the courtroom: “I should have protected you.” A desperate plea, a belated recognition of the horror unfolding.

Initially, both parents denied any wrongdoing, but Nivalda eventually pleaded guilty to causing or allowing her son’s death. The prosecution refused to accept this limited admission of guilt, pushing for a full trial. The courtroom became a battleground of accusations, with each parent attempting to deflect blame.

Tributes outside a house on Percy Road in Seacombe, Wirral today. A couple have been found guilty of murdering their own baby son. Klevi and Nivalda Santos Pirjani have been on trial at Liverpool Crown Court charged with the murder of their infant child Miguel Pirjani, who died aged 13 weeks in November last year. The mum and dad were accused of "systematically abusing" their baby before his death, at which stage he was found to have suffered numerous broken bones and a bleed on the brain. The two sought to blame each other for their son???s death, with the mum even alleging the dad ???lost control??? and headbutted the youngster.

Nivalda alleged that Klevi had “lost control” and intentionally headbutted Miguel. The three-week trial laid bare a disturbing dynamic, a desperate attempt to escape responsibility for the unspeakable. Ultimately, the jury saw through the deception, finding both parents guilty of murder.

Detectives described the case as “truly shocking,” a heartbreaking betrayal of the most fundamental trust. Miguel, a vulnerable infant, was robbed of his life by the very people meant to cherish and protect him. The conviction serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of violence and the profound loss of innocent life.
